I can tell you now, that if you're looking to use the n800 as a PIM, you've probably picked the wrong device.

Not saying that it can't work in that capacity, but it's really not what it's designed to do, unless you're wanting to just use Google apps.

I carry a treo 755p with mine, and let the treo handle all the heavy lifting in terms of e-mail, contacts, calendaring and "work" stuff.

The n800 isn't even remotely in the same ballpark as the palm when it comes to PIM stuff.
