You are involved enough in CSSU stuff (one way or another) to know that thumb-testing branch of source code on gitorious was created exactly for the purpose of having the source code that MIGHT not be compatibe with Maemo5 default compiler. Keeping backward compatibility to Maemo5 SDK (as distributed by Nokia) has never been a goal of that branch.

And in addition - will you point to at least one example of me not trying to keep backward compatibility, as much as humanly possible, no matter which project. Once you've questioned my expertise and experience and I am ok with that, it is your right, but throwing some random toughts on the principles of Linux development in general, while refusing to make yourself aware of the facts smells to me like trolling.
