WP7x's notification framework is known to be far less capable all-round than Maemo6x (see MNB articles on it), so it'll def. fall down in that area.

It was updated recently, took much longer than the S^3 version, but it's now at parity, well, in-terms of version no's at least.

Cogs in the F/OSS commune can sometimes take a while to build-up momentum, but they inevitably do.
