Hedgecore: I agree 100%. I was looking for a 12"laptop or tablet to browse and check email. Considered an IBook but was sick of waiting for the release of the Core Duo MacBook. I found no device that was capable of this minimal functionality combined with portability and an affordable pricetag. Until I stumbled on the 770. Waited for the news on UMPC but decided not to wait another 2 years for that platform to become mature.
I bougth a nearly new 770 for Euro 250,- and i'm still very happy. Some people don't understand the concept and want to turn it into a phone, calender/agenda thingy, remote control, etc etc. As an engineer myself I love the plain and simple approach. Just browse and check email and be happy with it. And yes, I'm too waiting for a more stable release
And please don't turn it in to some M$ device.
