+1 to kevloral, although I did say earlier in the thread that jolla isn't jewel in Spanish. As for the pronounciation, a Spanish speaker from Spain might disagree, but I do agree with you, kevloral.

jOS would be quite catchy. Certainly rolls of the tongue easier, may have to use it more myself in the future?

As for the confusion with another OS, J is one higher than i lol.

I wonder if any one has patented the Naming Constraints for a mobile/computing operating system that contains only 3 letters consisting of the first being lower case followed by the upper case OS acronym?

If they have not, then this would be an easy thing to copyright if you used Peugeot as Citation with their naming constraints. You would not have to even use it, as there would be so many people knocking at your door to buy it off you.
