What about CPU refreshing screen on 60hz? You've managed to overcome it (by some kind of "snapshot" took once per minute, frozen o), on screen without refreshing, or is it still an issue?

IIRC, it would basically deny device entering into C4 state as much as it should, still severely increasing power draw.
