penguinbait , I have managed to replicate this now. Firstly open the browser with the text in to the address bar working. Now touch the task bar (you may have to slide the V keyboard out of the way) then you will find that when you put the pointer back in the adress bar you will not be able to add characters to it.

I have found how to get working again though. Touch on the browser so it is the active window and dont let it go, but with a finger press and hold the V keyboard. Now you can let go of the browser and then the V keyboard and text action is restored.

Weird. At least I know how to remidy so I can continue to use
