Yes, to my surprise, Super Video Converter converts VOB that I ripped/decrypted with DVD Shrink.
Quicktime Pro has many nice options and interfaces (including volume), except the VOB option is an additional cost.
I see in an initial Media Converter thread that the frame rates can/could be edited command-line style. But I would need some handholding for this, I think.
I've never been able to get Handbrake to get started or save files properly!
