Try these steps for cold flashing:
1. Determinate device (N900 is RX-51) and HW revision (e.g 2101)
2. Download COMBINED fiasco image for device from tablets-dev.nokia.com
3. Download flasher and install it (or unpack)
4. Run as root (on windows as administrator):

flasher-3.5 -h <device>:<hwrev> -F <fiasco> -c -S usb
