For those who like to update icons and want to see the result immediately, but without refresh of all home screens, because it also will close all your opened apps. Run this command as ROOT:

sed -i 's/Icon/Icon2/;s/Icon2/Icon/g' /usr/share/applications/*.desktop
It will refresh all your icons on the home screen without closing of all your opened apps.. Probably your phone will freeze for a few second, don't worry, it's ok.. Just wait a few seconds..
But if you change icons in the:
Code:
/usr/share/themes/blanco/meegotouch/icons
You still need reboot for seeing your changes...
