but knotbviker said it wasn't a block in the earlier change of protocoltreenode.py file. by my limited understanding, i think that change had nothing to do with encryption or blocking or traffic.. but hmmm i am curious, could they really differentiate between traffic coming from wazapp vs traffic coming from official clients?
