love the N900 for what it is. And it is a pretty fast device, considering its age.

just remember other high-end smartphone rivals from the same era. The N97, the Omnia HD, the Motorola Milestone 1 (droid) ,etc...
All slow pieces of garbage today.

The N900 has aged pretty damn well. We should be thankfull it is still receiving regular css updates. It still surfs the web greatly and has top-notch connectivity & plenty of storage (up to 64gb)

also good photos with excellent macros.

damn... i said everything i wanted to say.


bottom line: it is still pretty fast for a 3 year old single-core device.
I agree completely (worth mentioning overclocking capabilities, very good GPS receiver, top notch physical qwerty, excellent resistive screen almost better than capacitive, etc..).

Only complaint for me would be having an adobe flash update
