I am having the same issue with pdflush eating up a lot of CPU time. It is much more noticeable when using the Application Manager (refresh application list, install or remove applications). It is also quite slow to boot up after a full power down, like other people mentioned.

I voted for the bug posted in Bugzilla, by the way, and I hope that other people having the same issue do too so that someone can take the time to look into it.
