I have the same problem with the last version (1330):

for install the last version i did:
- killall wapzapp
- rm -rf /home/user/.wazapp
- devel-su ; apt-get remove wapzapp
- pdpkg -i wazapp-01092012-1030.deb


then I open the new version wazapp and sync contact, the application work fine for some minutes, after the applications don't work, no sync (no receive and no send messages).
