Or you could honestly care about how easily digested your intended message is to others and you have a vocabulary that extends past simple words that require tricky spelling.

What machine do you mean? Screw, lever, pulley, et al; those types of "machines" that we list under simple machines? Or do you mean a computer, smartphone and tablet; the things that we're quickly being told via marketing and peer pressure that I require to be human?

If the latter, we disagree. If the former, I'd just say that you want to do things the hard way. Either way, machines do not define the man.

Not unless you're really, really married to your technology. Then in that case, you just simply have a co-dependency problem on things that you think make your life richer.

Just give me fire, shelter and a steady supply of potable water and I'm pretty damn human and happy.
