I have to say I agree with Nathan. When Quim publicly said, with authority (whether real or in his head) that the codes would be available such and such week, he immediately assumed responsibility. When the codes were NOT ready then. *HE* should have come forth and said, "You know what, I did say they would be ready, and they're not. My bad, unfortunately we're still working on lining this up or fixing that. I will let you guys know when they're active."

He did, and if indeed he is on vacation, then someone else should have been there to do it for him.

Also, the fact that the emails went out to the U.S. yesterday, saying the codes were active when they weren't, and that LetsTalk has LIMITED knowledge about it, and moreso that Nokia's own Customer Care has ZERO knowledge about it speaks loudly to me of Nathan's concern above.

Seems to me that the Internet Tablet is a project that perhaps at the beginning was someone's passion, but the more they realized it was more work than they thought, it was abandoned, save for a few souls at Nokia who were strapped to it from 9-5.

I'm actually sad that the Tablet has become part of Nokia's Nseries, because I have ALOT of contact with that group, and there has never been a lack of communication or passion in that group. I've met several of them personally and they just ooze passion for the product. I don't get that in the Tablet group in the slightest.

I'll still use it, sure. But later this year, when the other MIDs start coming out (and several of them the same form factor as the N810), I can't say that I won't be shopping around, really. I would imagine that alot of the developers feel the same way.
