I love to have options.

EDIT: Danramos, do you ever explain what you mean or you just negative trolling all the time without reason?
I think I already pointed it out a couple of times. The specs aren't particularly wow-worthy in mid-2012 anymore and the marketing for them isn't helping now that they're being proven faked.

Seriously? First--you clearly didn't pay attention to the evidence that was being shown in those articles I posted. Second--Nokia already came out to admit they were faked and apologized for them being misleading.

Here.. here's one of the PLETHORA of articles pointing out that they're apologizing, in case it helps:

Go back a page or two and bother to read the posts before you try to play smart with me. You're making yourself look unqualified.

I agree with that, but diversification and actually asking customers what they want in a product they would buy might also be the only proper solution at this point, in my opinion. The Microsoft monoculture that Nokia has set itself upon was never a winning strategy and has proven itself out as a losing strategy even more every day that passes.

The market wanted to hear that the phones would be out by late October, or sooner. I have no idea why Nokia didn't say anything apart from Q4, but I suspect it's because MS didn't allow..
Along with the news of faked "sample photos" and "sample videos" marketing, this also makes it smell like vapourware--even if there are prototypes about. I think that might be premature, honestly, but it DOES make it smell a little like it.

And also.. isn't it AWESOME that Microsoft can micro-manage Nokia from afar like that? All the risk, with very little to personally lose should this all fail miserably (as it has so far). Microsoft doesn't have to be the one to report it all to regulators like the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) nor stockholders the way Nokia has to and make it look like a thorough failure on their own shoulders. This gives Microsoft a chance to blame the other guy! Nokia 2012 = Kin 2010

Perhaps--but it hardly matters when the whole company isn't hitched to the Microsoft crazy train.
