Quick reply...
Mistral, Chinook, Fremantle, Harmattan are winds, all over the world.
Maemo is an obscure word. Generated by password generator and human's imagination. It can be 'translated' (Google translate, phonetic transliteration) as "Mama" from Arabic, "We have" from Belarusian, "Mom" from Bulgarian, "Horse demon" from Chinese, "memo" from Gujarati and Swahili, "Memo" from Hindi and Kannada and Telugu and Urdu, "Even before" from Japanese, "Mamo" from Persian, "MEMO" from Tamil, "We" from Ukrainian. "Horse devil" (馬惡魔) is my personal favourite.
MeeGo, Mer and Nemo are touched upon, too.
MeeGo might be standing for "me on the go".
Hildon an obscure word with many meanings.
Mer is an unknown, too.
Nemo, part of Mar, is 'nobody' in Latin.
Maa-emę, Maanemo, Manemo is Mother Earth. "Manemo", or "Maanemo", is a possible candidate: does not contain "maemo", is a synonym of "Maaemę", contains "nemo".
I have nothing against Aeolos, a name shared by three mythic characters, the ruler of the winds. But it's Greek, and no other names were derived from Greek mythology/language, were they?
