Looks like portrait mode is working.

1. Both the dash and dock widget need to be resized. If you open each widget and reduce the width size that should fix that problem.
I reduced the dock widget width to 480 and left the dash as it is, but you can reduce the dash widget width slighty if you want.

2. What are you trying to uninstall?

3. I don't have backup menu installed, so I cant help you there.

4. Does your phone keep rebooting and won't startup?
