Do you mean like a sign that the gps found the signal and started tracking? (in case you choose to hide the status bar, coz in that case you'd have the sign there)

Yes, I mean an indication that the gps has found its signal. I know there is a gps icon on the status bar which will blink slowly when looking for signal but it is tiny and not easily seen on a dim screen plus you have to wait for it to blink or not. I thought the blank space from removing the gps switch can be used for a gps indicator like an icon which will appear or turn green when it has the signal and disappear or grey out when it lost the signal.
