Just a comment:

sometimes when I want to remove a Widget, I used Gonfik editor (advice from thedead, thank you again ). Then I refresh the phone, and yes the widget I have enabled is there but some are missing (whereas they were there just before).
It can happen also with the brigtness bar, that sometimes disappears !!!! So to have every widgets I want, I need to go to Gconfik and set every widgets I want (all of them) then go to "brightness_slider" part and set the color (even if I don't change any values).

It is just as if the phone take into account only what you have just set in Gconfik.

Just a comment, maybe this situation can happen to someone else.
