and another thing i forgot: there are supported rss feeds for the N800, right? or was that a 3rd party option (IE tweaks to -make- it work, lol).. im pretty sure i've read somewhere it can support widgets/rss from first party apps.
I'm not sure what the question is. The bulit-in RSS feed reader will read any standard RSS feed I've run across. I tend to use google reader in a web browser, though, since it's easier to keep track of the large number of feeds I subscribe in both places.

if you run across a website, using the n800 web browser, you'll see the little RSS icon in the menubar. Just click on it, and it'll add the rss feed to the native rss feed reader. You can either launch that application to read the feeds, or you can turn on the desktop widget, which will scroll the feeds across your desktop in a little box. Feeds with embedded (supported) media will give you a link to click, which should launch the media player.
