Not unlikely, since everyone (once) interested in development for fremantle should have a maemo.org account (needed for the autobuilder). So a N9 owner had to create one at the beginning (!) of the Coding Competition solely to take part in the voting process 3 months later, while a N900 owner with a (long forgotten) maemo.org acoount was notified via e-mail at the beginning of the voting phase.

Edit: Before I saw the voting results, I thought an application only for N900 would have little chance to win, but that was based on the numbers of TMO threads during the last year.
