Just setting up scratchbox in Squeeze as per this

http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=72033 has the details for setting up QtCreator inside scratchbox.

I am successfully using QtCreator 2.4.1 inside Debian Lenny inside scratchbox.

To launch it, first I do:

xhost +local:

This allows the scratchbox environment to access my X server.

Then after logging into scratchbox:

DISPLAY=:0 nohup qtcreator-2.4.1/bin/qtcreator

This launches QtCreator. Make sure you follow the steps in the link from the other post about copying mouse cursors into scratchbox.

Then just use Qt Desktop target. Inside scratchbox, Desktop is the same as Maemo file system target.

Make sure you install qt-creator first

Do xhost first. Then from inside scratchbox:

[sbox-FREMANTLE_X86: ~] > DISPLAY=:0 nohup ./qt-creator-linux-x86-opensource-2.4.1.bin

This will launch the installer.
