Samsung has phones that cost as little as £9 here, but that's probably unsold stock. Many, many people in Asia and Africa would buy a £9 phone over a £39 phone. Lowest end is traditionally where Nokia's been the strongest. So it's real money for them. But as it is, Nokia's losing fast in the lowest end too.
