Glad I didn't Yes, remove that folder. # rm -rf /root/.and Even though I have no experience with Nitdroid, nor do I wish to have any, I cannot believe that it requires storing stuff in the home folder of the Maemo root user. Nevertheless, if removing the folder causes problems with Nitdroid I suggest you go and complain to the Nitdroid people.
