As I wrote in other thread on TMO - problem is that tracker is incorrectly indexing the files, not assigning them "media file" metadata info. That happens when your user-dirs.dirs file gets messed up. After correcting the file all new media files will be correctly indexed, but old ones will still carry wrong metadata tags. So you have 2 options:
1. Copy/upload again all files not showed. They will be indexed correctly.
2. Reset tracker so it re-indexes whole device memory. This way you lose all your messages, call log AND contacts.
