Try to check for /home/user/.status-menu is it present or not?
(I have ScreenCapture and pictures go somewhere I dont want but I have too many picture apps and that not main problem.)

In landscape that white bar mows to bottom off the screen and turns red. Profile and volume bars are then only half screen.

Uninstalled and reinstalled made no difference. Did then try to go back to that backup but did not help...

Also installing old SME 0.1.0 does not help... Now status-menu is not present and stock bar is useless...
