sifo: can't chroot to your debian image... (lame joke I know).

My (minor) problem was enabling sound in easy debian for audacity, and when I managed to get it working (via the easy deb wiki) audacity crashed every now and then so I wasn't successful.
Like many others here, I also think that easy debian is THE must have app for the n900! Desktop in your pocket.
