Sorry that's what I meant. An N900 with any modifications compared to an iPhone 4S/5 with any modifications (jailbreak).

Yes, theoretically you can make your own vkbd, but it won't be anywhere near the fit, polish and performance ofthe iPS one.

That's not the point. The point is that by today's standards the N900 is a lousy smartphone but a competent "computer". The iPhone is a great smartphone, and when it's freed, it can do some/most "computer" tasks the N900 can do. It may not be complete yet, but so far, getting a jailbroken iPhone can mean having the best of both worlds.
