i am my own boss and there are too many "apps" i need everyday:
Outlook
Photoshop
Excel
Acrobat
Word
InDesign

and on and on and on... and there is just no alternative LINUX-way... i really tried id, but it does not work... OpenOffice and Gimp and stuff are good, i know, but there are many limits...

customers want their stuff and they get their stuff....

Edit: and please don't tell me about Thunderbird or Lotus Notes, i tried that too and it does not work with customers overalll...
I know where you are coming from, I have previously had to use Windoze for debugging Symbian applications, but apart from that, I'm OK, and I don't plan on targeting Symbian devices again (it's a clusterfvck). I don't really need any office stuff in my daily work, which is where MS has the stranglehold, due to proprietary document formats. Qt Creator, Eclipse, Netbeans, various SDKs. These all work nicely in Linux.
