Acoording to the log, the network connection is fine - what troubles me is that it said that the temporary user id & password you recieved from the servers were not valid.

Can you please try to:
1) remove ~/MyDocs/.waze once again
1.1) Make sure you are connected to the internet
2) start waze and select English instead of Deutsch (later you can change it after the first run from the settings menu)
3) log in either with your waze user or skip login (this generates the temporary user/password)

The thing is that waze connect to a certain server depending on your location - i know of 3 servers: US, World & Israel. Your waze might have been a little disoriented and registered to the wrong server. The server is chosen according to the GPS location.
Have you tried changing the Maemo AGPS server to supl.google.com before running waze?
