Tgalal already mentioned that contact sync is not working and its due to Whatsapp issue not the wazapp.. and for now you can just chat with people who send a msg to you first..

Partly you're right but that problem was seen in 0.8.10 at least for the last two weeks already and there was no problem of this kind in 0.2.7.
Anyway, if Sync server is down - something could be fixed so that Wazapp doesn't just stuck in "Loading" telling nothing and forcing user to reboot, but says something.
