I've erred on the side of as much information and background as I could remember as I wrote it.

I'll be duplicating this process with the GSM providers when I recover.

Please add any secrets you found helpful (I skipped anything device-specific, such as AT commands) and feel free to edit my run-on sentences and generally terrible grammar which leads in to text blobs that look like reasonable paragraphs until you realize that I simply didn't know when to stick a period in and call it a day.
