Otherwise it really seems to be a bug... but no idea if it's on side of Whatsapp or Wazapp.
I stored in my phonebook every contact with the international country code. And all contacts are from the same country. Some of the missing contacts use iOS and some android.

And I have not stored the wrong number cause I can call them or send them a sms.
