that's cool i would try it but right now i dont need to flash my device. i started the thread to know what can i try if anything goes wrong with my n900.

BTW just for curiosity, why did you press P instead of U???

Thanks for being so nice to me panjgoori. i dont want that fresh backup. i started the thread if in case if my mobile does not boot what can i do than.except reflashing it.

(if in future my n900 goes in some trouble. i my self hv backupmenu installed and its backups.but imagine if bootmenu does not appear what can we do? that was the thing i wanted to know)
