I have the same problem with tracker. This is what I already did:

Removed .png and .jpg files from /home and /home/user

Checked user-dirs.dirs file and corrected it (only Video was not what it should be, was "$HOME"). Now, it is like this:

XDG_DOWNLOAD_DIR="$HOME/MyDocs/Downloads"
XDG_TEMPLATES_DIR="$HOME/MyDocs"
XDG_PUBLICSHARE_DIR="$HOME/MyDocs"
XDG_DOCUMENTS_DIR="$HOME/MyDocs/Documents"
XDG_MUSIC_DIR="$HOME/MyDocs/Music"
XDG_PICTURES_DIR="$HOME/MyDocs/Pictures"
XDG_VIDEOS_DIR="$HOME/MyDocs/Videos"

Tried the wook_sf tool: gallerybugx and rebooted but had no luck.


Finally I reset tracker-control doing tracker-control -r ... no luck (plus contacts, call history and SMS vanished but I was prepared).


I give herewith the tracker logs. As there are so many errors, maybe nothing can be done and only a reflash will correct the situation.


Now, when I open the gallery, I see only the pictures in Home/user/mydocs/pictures but I do not see other pictures in the subfolders of Home/user/mydocs/pictures.

When I open the music, it is stucked in the updating the library.

When I open Videos, he tells that there is no videos. If I take a video, I see it in the Home/user/MyDocs/DCIM folder.


All my pictures, music and videos are stilll there, I can see them with Filebox or Wazapp.


OK, so, before I reflash, have you some advice or hint for me to try? Thanks in advance.
