Anyway, this problem is not aegis-bound methinks, but a gconf limitation. At least having the password in MD4 would help a little.
I wonder if I would post this to /. and mentioning I found a HUGE security bug (and maybe make an app to prove it) what would N say?
I mean aegis was said to protect user data but IMO its like a DRM-type of system that doesn't actually protect user data...

We are protected by our obscurity instead of any mechanisms; anybody can write an app ask you to incept it as it needs system access and simply delete user data without the user knowing...

Try it out though I don't think they actually care
