I use stable CSSU and it respects the phone settings.
But if liked landscape with CSSU use/install:
status-area-orientationlock-applet.
Note that after installing applet via apt-get/ HAM/ FAM, desktops&app menu turns potrait/landscape .
Assuming those didn't flip after CSSU installation.
