@coderus: I got updated to nightly8 today via system update. This build works well and the sounds now are according to the ringing volume. YAY . Thanks for fixing that.

Only issue I found was that if I have one unread message from a contact, I dont get sound notifications for subsequent messages from the same contact. ie If a contact send me 5 messages when my screen is locked, I get sound only for the first one, and the next 4 messages do not produce any sound.
