Sorry, but I'm trying to figure this out. Long story short, power down all the way and restart and your fonts will be fine. It doesn't matter what you do in konquerer. My system crashed in kde initially and I restarted and that's why I thought my settings in the browser made a differnence. All along it was the rebooting that made the difference.
