Wrong. I looked. 4-8% isn't a downfall, and besides, the AAPL stock was overpriced. It'll decline more for AAPL, but NOK is almost flatlined with a slight spike up to $4 USD. I see AAPL hitting a new "low" of about $200 - which is still worth more than $4.

Unless apple doesn't launch something fresh next year instead of yet another infinitesimal upgrade, they are gone.
They have cash reserves that most countries would love to have.

I'm not sure the death of apple will be a good thing for Nokia though.
Actually, Apple failing now will help RIM if they launch BB10 to more acclaim. Apple failing will not help Nokia. Nokia and Microsoft are so intertwined, it'll take Microsoft to start to succeed to hit a new high instead.

Right now Nokia is nicer than apple...
Dude... the Death Star is nicer than Apple right now.

...nicer to the wallet and cooler hw.
Only on contract for the most part.

Nokia is much better bolted together, software and hardware, than any android phone. I think android camp has more to gain if apple should die than Nokia have.
Disagree. Android is gaining for many reasons, Apple defections isn't really one that adds to the list in a significant way. Same for Nokia - they're not benefitting from any Apple exodus at the moment.
