You can already do that in version 1.4.1. There is setting to enable monitoring of the clipboard for YouTube URLs (settings > other). If this setting is enabled, copying a YouTube URL to the clipboard whilst cuteTube is running will result in the video details being displayed. You can also do it from the search dialog. If the clipboard contains a YouTube URL (and the search box is empty), the confirmation button text will be "From URL". Pressing the button will take you to the video details.
