I'm getting this too with PR1.3 having CSSU stable.
I previously used CSSU testing & it worked.

Tried running it from xterm but no errors reported by the app.
I ran play-sound on the wav files & they were alright.
But the app just plays sounds as short "tick" sounds.
I'm getting this problem with drummer as well (graphics loaded fine for drummer).
Still, I wonder if it's something to do with python...
