The slider switch on the right on my N900 that toggles the display on/off started behaving erratically after the 7 January update. It fails to switch the display off in one out of four attempts and on in three out of four (actually, it may in fact succeed every time but takes so long to react that I may press it several times and then it takes all the presses at once with the screen flicking in and out uncontrolably). Has anyone else noticed that? I've had a similar situation before but reset fixed it. Not now though.
Another thing, I tried doing a BackupMenu backup last night but it just rebooted on its own before I could read which button to press. I
think
it flashed something on the screen before the reset (something about watchdog, perhaps?) but it was so brief that I did not manage to catch it. I tried several times and it was 100% reproducible. However it has been a while since my last backup so this may not be a new thing. The above is definitely new.
I am running 21.2011.38-1Tmaeomo7.2+thumb0.
Sorry if I've missed someone else reporting it already...
