****************************** UPDATE ****************************** I'm glad to announce the brand-new version of Grr NG !!! This is a uncomplete list of the new features : - Revamped UX to stick more to MeeGo and a little of my own.... ;-) (some people have said they love my custom maemo theme in viewing my previous screenshots, so i did an attemp to provide my theme inside the application UX CSS style, because Qt allows it) - Settings dialog to set orientation settings and filter on updated feeds - added an header over the list of entries with details of feed (because i made a cleanup on titlebar) - added a larger strip over the content view with many details on the viewed news : publishing date, title (with working word wrapping if text is too long), author name, website, category.... - switching between view is just instantaneous - i have integrated the maemo information banners between the UX element to avoir them to pass over and block the clicking, and gived them a nicer looking - accelerated all slide gestures in lists and viewports - corrected a bug that made some entries not being marked as read or as favorite when using 'Previous' / ' Next' button - beautified Connection dialog (now in 'Account Settings') - removed old maemo menus in titlebar, and just added a nice 'About' dialog instead. - many other improvements..... you can find it as usual in my FTP : http://modern-os.projects.servhome.o...1.99_armel.deb As you will see, i've improved compilation and packaging : - the package takes 1.0 MB instead of 1.3 - version is set to 2.1.99 to avoid replacemetn by old version from repos... - the Name is now 'Grr NG' to differentiate it in the menu - icon is back Hope you love it ! Cheers. PS : in respone to barzam, are in the work : - customizable color in the whole UX from a single hue of color - un/foldable categories for feeds (labels are already showed up in the content header) - extra repos will be done as soon i will have an invite and an id for that... - for the donation, that's good from you but i really prefer greeting and smiles ;-)
