FShare was working for me, but I didn't do that much testing. Do you have some links I can test?

I cannot change the download speed. That is down to your internet connection and/or the server. For these filehosting services, usually it's the server that is limiting the download speed, and the speed may differ depending on server load (peak times slower than non-peak).
