Thank you very much for your response, but i am still having difficulties.

I have added the following application catalogues to my N900 following the tutorial:

community repo mirror 1

I get the following error :

http://maemo-archive.wedrop.it/repos...armel/Packages
404 Not found [IP:37.59.41.108 80]

and

extras repo mirror 1

I get the following error :

http://maemo-archive.wedrop.it/repos...armel/Packages
404 Not found [IP:37.59.41.108 80]
