I have already removed the back cover and pulled the battery. I can get another locally, but a charger I'd have to order off the internet. Might have to report back after I've tried that.

As for the flasher, I indeed used the N9 one and exactly with that flag since that only pulls the firmware info (which I verified as working because it recognized my N9). I stopped using the N950 oneclickflasher utility after I upgraded from PR1.2 to PR1.3 in December.
