There is no* offline MS word for the internet tablet.
There are other text and document editors but they are wholy incompatable with MS Word. *There is Garnet that emulates a PDA and then for that there is a program called Word To Go purchased separately, but the compatability isn't 100%, and you view in a tiny screen I wouldn't consider it a 'feature' of the internet tablet.

There is a great office suite KDE... but if you haven't been able to find out what the internet tablet is (and is not) then it's probably more complex of a setup than you are ready for.

Not to be rude, or discrouage N8x0 sales, but I'm not so sure the Nokia tablet is for you. Definitely read more about it before making your purchase.

[Edit: Re-reading your post, I might have gone too far. If you wern't expecting MS word compatability, there are programs like wordpress (I thought I saw something about wordstar but can't find it now). I used to love wordstar back in 1990 but I digress.]
